Intellectual Property: What Do I Need To Know? – Bournemouth – Dorset Growth Hub
May 21 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm| Free
Intellectual Property – What do I need to know?
So what is intellectual property? Well…..
Does your business have a logo or brand name? Have you got a website or brochures and other marketing materials? Do you sell goods or services? Have you got a good idea for a new business concept or product?
If you answer YES to any of these questions then you own intellectual property! If you would like to learn how to make the most out of your intellectual property, then come along to the workshop and we can teach you how.
Abi Sinden, Solicitor at Ellis Jones Solicitors will be providing an interactive overview of the different intellectual property rights which exist in business. This will include branding and trademarks, registered designs, design right, copyright and confidentiality. Attendees will learn how to make the most of these rights and how they can be protected to prevent “copycats”.
Abi specialises in helping businesses with their legal requirements; including negotiating a variety of contracts, e-commerce, intellectual property, corporate work and the buying and selling of businesses.
We look forward to seeing you there.
