About this event
This workshop will run both online and in-person in Canford School where we will cover funding options for start-up and early-stage businesses plus a look at more general funding options.
Lucy Kitcher from NatWest will talk about how you can give yourself the best chance of attracting funding from a bank and we will explore other early-stage funding options such as the government start-up loans.
We will also spend some time looking at the New Business grant offered by the Dorset Growth Hub and run through how to best complete the application form.

Businesses that have a clear strategy and direction for the business succeed and grow more effectively.

This workshop is completely free and funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It’s delivered by Dorset Growth Hub and WSX Enterprise. It is only open to businesses that have a Dorset postcode. Please also note that some sectors are not eligible for financial support on this programme due to Central Government Legislation. These sectors include: fishery & aquaculture, primary production, processing and marketing of agricultural products, coal, steel and shipbuilding sectors, synthetic fibres, generalised school-age education, banking and insurance companies.
