Inspiring Enterprise

Inspiring Enterprise is a project that helps unemployed people and people that are working, such as carers and graduates, start their own business or become self-employed.

We offer 1 to 1 support with advice, ideas and business planning, ‘Business Essentials’ training courses, peer networking and workshops.

Whether you’ve been out of work for months or years, have just graduated or are just about to graduate from university, deciding to build a better future for yourself or your community can be a big step.

And sometimes, you may not even know what you want but just know you deserve more.

You may not be clear what the road ahead looks like.

And even if you’re unclear, our team at Inspiring Enterprise can help you build ideas to make the right decisions for your project.

Our workshops focus on the skills that people need when running a business:

  • use of social media
  • selling skills
  • low cost marketing ideas
  • confidence building
  • and more…

We also run a Start Up Café for anybody with Start Up dreams in Basingstoke.

The project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. All the support is free for eligible people.

Where is support offered?

We work with the University of Winchester, Action Hampshire, Surrey Community Action and the Fredericks Foundation to help deliver the project in the Hampshire and Surrey area.
