Barefaced Brewers ferment success with growth grant

Barefaced Brewing is run by Tom and Nick, brewing beers with flavours that are perfect for BBQs and hangouts.

They started in a hipster warehouse in Bournemouth in 2018, working part-time.

In late 2020 they decided to scale up the whole business, moving to premises in Blandford. With the help of a Dorset Growth Hub Growth Grant, they funded some additional specialist brewing equipment and were able to fit out new premises.

They have since grown to a team of 4 and have opened their new tap room.

We had been in regular contact with a Growth Advisor from the DGH for a few years and when we were planning a significant project had no hesitation in asking if there was any financial assistance required.

We were delighted to accept the support provided and it was well worth the very modest effort in securing a grant.

The grant application process gave us confidence in our plans and made a great contribution to the investment required.”
