Donna Chant

I am the project coordinator for Inspiring Enterprise, a WSX project that helps unemployed people develop the skills and confidence they need to build their own business or social enterprise.

I keep everything ticking over, look after the events, the Inspiring Enterprise website, and deal with all the enquiries.

I have been with Inspiring Enterprise for the past 4 years.

Before that, I enjoyed a career in the arts and culture industry as a theatre manager, working both in venues and running off-site events, festivals, and tours for many years before deciding to have a change and join the Inspiring Enterprise team.

I have also mentored lots of young people starting out in the creative industry.

I enjoy working with, and meeting lots of people and find working on a project that helps improve people’s lives really rewarding.

My favourite part of the project is meeting participants at events, and interviewing participants for case studies.

I love talking to our participants and hearing about the amazing things they have achieved with the support of our business advisors.

When I’m not coordinating the Inspiring Enterprise project, I would most likely be found exploring the woods with my son, dancing to live music in a field, reading, or writing.

If I wasn’t working with Inspiring Enterprise, I would love to run a wellbeing festival and Glamping site.
