FreeThis interactive workshop is brought to you by Dorset Growth Hub. This is a beginner level workshop for businesses in Dorset which focuses on the basics of search engine optimisation.
If you’re unsure as to what search engine optimisation means and how it impacts your business then this is the workshop for you. You will learn what search engine optimisation is, why it’s important and what you can do to help your search engine rankings. Learn to implement your own simple changes to place your business in front of customers.
There are a lot of myths around search engine optimisation and how Google and other search engines rank websites. In this workshop, we will give you honest, impartial advice in this confusing and often overcrowded subject.
This 4-hour workshop will consist of;
• What is SEO and the role of search engines
• Who visits your website?
• What do your customers want?
• SEO strategies.
• Simple changes you can make straight away.
Please make sure that you are able to attend the event before you book. If you book a place and are not able to attend we reserve the right to exclude you from further bookings where places are in short supply.
This workshop is completely free and funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It’s delivered by Dorset Growth Hub and WSX Enterprise. It is only open to Dorset, UK registered SME’s and aspiring entrepreneurs within home addresses in Dorset, UK postcodes.

These sectors include: *Fishery & Aquaculture, *Primary production, processing and marketing of agricultural products, *Coal, Steel and shipbuilding sectors,*Synthetic Fibres, *Generalised School Age Education, *Banking and Insurance Companies.
